As the Medical Director of Caretenders HHC, Dr Goldblatt has worked with inspired leadership of Linda Murphy, RN, watching her develop a formidable structure for the provision of ethical home care in the Gainesville and surrounding communities, from humble beginnings only 5 years ago. A pilot project on the provision of In home palliative care has yielded promising results.  The early implementation of strategies to reduce unnecessary care, ER utilization, hospitalization, while optimizing symptom management is being developed simultaneously with measurement tools to determine success in this endeavor.

Linda Murphy, RN, is currently the Executive Director for Almost Family, Inc, a regional home healthcare consortium. Her current responsibilities include operations, sales, and business development for a 15 county North Central Florida area.
