The Focus on Disparities in the HHQI National Campaign
In leading the Home Health Quality Improvement National Campaign, WVMI & Quality Insights aim to reduce disparities in health care.
We are using data – both that we collect from current home health agency campaign participants and from the previous Home Health Quality Improvement National Campaign – to help us determine where health disparities exist.
The data will tell us if certain groups of people and/or people living in certain parts of the country are not receiving the right care at the right time. When we know this information, we can better target tools and interventions to break down barriers. Tools and educational materials can be based on either cultural or geographic factors.
