About WVMI and Quality InsightsThis Web site is maintained by the West Virginia Medical Institute (WVMI) and Quality Insights, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for West Virginia. As the QIO, WVMI is working toward a health care system that provides the right care for every patient, every time. We partner with hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, Medicare Advantage plans, and community and advocacy organizations. The project that this Web site supports — “Home Health Quality Improvement National Campaign” — is classified as a special study.

WVMI has over 35 years of organizational experience improving health care. WVMI has offices in four states and a staff of about 250 professionals with expertise in health care quality, information technology, data analysis and health education.

WVMI is a non-profit, physician-sponsored organization dedicated to the mission of “improving the health of the people we serve.” WVMI is the parent organization of the Medicare Quality Improvement Organizations for Delaware and Pennsylvania, Quality Insights of Delaware, Quality Insights of Pennsylvania respectively.
