Melinda HuffmanMelinda Huffman, BSN, MSN, CCNS, CHC, author, writer and nationally known speaker, is the co-founder of the National Society of Health Coaches, whose evidence-based health coach certification program is listed as #1 among the most popular programs in the U.S. She conducts Coach Clinics nationwide in the areas of evidence-based health coaching, patient engagement, and motivational interviewing. She’s a former Director of Nursing at Southern TN Medical Center; a Director of Disease Management for Amedisys, Inc., (pronounced: Ah-med-i-sis); and Director of Nursing Education, Motlow College.

Melinda has a BSN from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and an MSN in from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She’s the author of the homecare best seller, Implementing Outcome-Based Homecare.
