This educational webinar will provide information and data on how a traumatic event(s) in a person’s life, even as a child, can have chronic lasting effects with development and functioning. The individual can have higher incidence to many behavioral health, negative lifestyle behaviors, and triggers that effect their health and welfare. Understanding how trauma may be the underlying cause for vulnerable populations can assist with care planning.

sad senior womanParticipants will learn the sources of potential trauma and complex trauma for individuals served in health care. Learning objectives also include the impact of trauma on emotional and behavioral functioning as well as the principles of trauma-informed systems.
