HHQI's 2018 Heart Month Webinar
February 27, 2018 - 2:00 to 3:30 pm ET

Evidence suggests hospital readmissions and all-cause mortality rates are reduced when patients who have experienced a heart attack participate in a cardiac rehabilitation program. However, even as providers are striving to improve and sustain the quality of delivered cardiovascular care, this is often a missed opportunity.

During this webinar presented by HHQI, leading national experts will discuss the diseases & diagnoses that qualify a patient to participate in cardiac rehab and the services that are included. We'll also review available alternatives for those patients who are unable to attend an outpatient program.

  • Janet Wright, MD, FACC, Million Hearts®, Executive Director
  • Kate Traynor, RN, MS, FAACVPR, Massachusetts General Hospital, Director, CVD Prevention Ctr
  • Bud Langham, PT, MBA, Encompass Home Health, Chief Clinical Officer
