Pre-Submitted Questions

On August 18 at 2pm (ET), HHQI will host our quarterly LiveChat, where home health agencies from across the country can come together to share ideas and learn from each other. The HHQI team will be available as well, but LiveChat is really all about giving home health agencies the opportunity to help each other. You are the experts on the front line.

Although not required, HHQI encourages agencies to email questions that may require a little more deliberation prior to the live event. Below are those that have been pre-submitted for discussion. Can you offer any insight to your fellow home health professionals? Please bring your answers to the live event August 18 at 2pm (ET). Add it to your Outlook calendar now.

Right now, our plan is to have a QAPI steering committee with members on the current functional working committees, and these report up to and through QAPI to the board. These existing committees include infection control, outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
  1. Our HHCAHPS scores are just not improving. Can anyone share strategies that have worked?
  1. Is anyone willing to share their program or standards they use for customer service? Has anyone utilized the Cleveland Clinic patient experience materials?
  1. We believe that Employee Engagement is driving patient experience and relates to outcomes. In the last year, we've experienced increased staff turnover. Does anyone have ideas on staff retention in home care?
  1. How do you access information about the average reimbursement per beneficiary by a home health agency?
